Globalization means closer relationships and more interaction between people, businesses and governments from around the world. Globalization has become identified with a number of changes since World War II. These include the international movement of money, information and people. Furthermore, it relates to the development of technology, organizations and legal systems.
Some of the causes of globalization are increased trade between nations and new technology. Increased international trade makes us wealthier and allows us to lead more diverse lifestyles. Technology like modern airplanes and communication methods allows people in different parts of the world to interact easily. For example, since it is easier to travel, more people go on vacation abroad and move to other countries for work or school. Also, globalization produces positive effects for settling global issues, such as environmental pollution and human rights.
